More reasoning makes an agent more capable. It does nothing to make it &lt;em&gt;safer&lt;/em&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A capable agent is also a capable liability. It can be talked into ignoring its instructions, coaxed into emitting toxic content, tricked into leaking another user&amp;rsquo;s data, or persuaded to call a destructive tool with arguments it was never meant to receive.
